Lanzarote, Canary Islands

It’s easy to understand why Lanzarote is so popular. It has so much to offer. Being a volcanic island, the scenery is lush and fertile making Fire Mountain and the curious vineyards at Le Geria ‘must do’ visits.

Tenerife

Beloved for its beaches, Tenerife also offers a feast for the eyes. Either from the numerous galleries and museums or the incredibly panoramic cable car ascent of Mount Teide, there is so much to see.
Tenerife is soothing on the ears, too. Listen for the timple, a distinctive element of Canarian folk music, or perhaps catch a recital at the Auditorio, home to the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

The Canary Islands have some of the most striking and diverse scenery of any islands on earth: dry volcanic deserts, a snowcapped mountain, lush fields with banana and pineapple plantations, plus spectacular beaches! Only 70 miles from the coast of Africa, the Canaries were a way station for Spanish galleons and Las Palmas was the provisioning stop for Columbus on all four of his voyages. See the palace where he stayed and wander through a fascinating collection of 15th-century marine memorabilia.

Agadir, Morocco

Nestling between the Atlantic and Atlas Mountains, this beach resort is a scenic wonder. As if the views alone were not enough, you’ll find its traditions just as inspiring. An intriguing destination.
This 9th-century merchant town, with its photogenic ramparts, is an ancient trade marvel. Known for its jewellers and carpet vendors, there are many charming spots to enjoy an authentic mint tea.

Casablanca,Morocco

The mere mention of Casablanca can conjure the hazy romance of the movie, but there is much more to this bustling port. Get swept up in this vibrant and timeless city and discover its unique charm.
Casablanca is Morocco’s largest city and one of Africa’s top financial centres. Anfa Boulevard is a highlight – a history-rich street accepted widely as the centre of the ‘original’ Casablanca.

Tangier, Morrocco

Tangier is just 20 miles from Spain across the Strait of Gibraltar. It is a bustling and vibrant city, which has an appropriate balance of shops to browse, beautiful beaches and historical landmarks.
Stroll the beachfront on Ave Mohammed VI, and sample the local mint tea. Perhaps a tour of the Kasbah Museum in the former Sultan’s palace before some craft souvenirs from The Souk in the Medina.

Lisbon

Portugal’s capital spreads its ancient sites on seven hills overlooking the Tagus River. Atop the highest hill, St. George’s Castle overlooks the city. Balconies ablaze with geraniums and wrought iron lamps light up the medieval Alfama quarter. Sorrowful fados ring out from cafés in the Alto. Shoppers browse in the affluent Chiado district. A short drive away, deposed royalty once lived out their days in the opulent palaces of Estoril and Sintra.
