Explore the Colonial past of Mindelo, the cultural center of Cape Verde with its distinctive blend of Portuguese and African influences. Make your way on foot to the Governor’s palace. Be sure to visit the Cape Verde Handicraft Museum before a stop at the fish market and the lively main municipal market in its own grand old colonial building.
